Author descriptionAllan N. Schore, Ph.D., is on the clinical faculty of the University of California at Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine. He is the author of Affect Regulation and the Origin of the Self, now in its ninth printing, as well as numerous articles and chapters in various disciplines. He is the editor of the Special Issue of the Infant Mental Health Journal, 'Contributions from the Decade of the Brain to Infant Mental Health,' is on the editorial board of the journal Neuropsychoanalysis, and has written the Foreword to the reissue of John Bowlby's volume Attachment. He has been in private psychotherapy practice for over three decades and resides in Northridge, CA. |
